Every year, the Fête de la nature, organized in May, offers the general public the opportunity to live an experience of nature in contact with them. The Science Festival, organized in October, offers to familiarize yourself with the scientific world. For an afternoon, the museum offers specific activities around its collections.

Nature Festival

In partnership with the City of Cosne-Cours-sur-Loire and the League for the Protection of Birds.

From the Town Hall, along the Nohain to the Loire Museum and then to the Island of Madagascar, participants will be able to discover the temporary exhibition Beaux rivages and the birds of the banks of the Loire.

The exhibition Beaux rivages at the Musée de la Loire is first and foremost the starting point of this ode to nature, which highlights the urgency of preserving our planet. The rise of ocean waters and its corollary retreat of the coastline, the intensification of flood phenomena and its consequences on the human occupation of the valleys, crystallize this global warming due to our activities. Maritime or river landscapes are constantly evolving, but these transformations are accelerating and challenging our occupation of the natural landscape. During a guided tour of the exhibition Beaux rivages, the Loire Museum invites you to touch this grandiose nature through the many landscapes gathered, in a journey that will take you from the banks of the Loire to that of the Atlantic or the Mediterranean via the Yonne or the Seine
